+ What is a two bucket & Grit guard wash

The importance of the 2 bucket & grit guard system is to help prevent scratches on the vehicle that could be caused by loose particles. This is done by using 1 bucket for your soap and microfiber wash mitt, while the other bucket is used to rinse the wash mitt before reapplying it to the vehicle. The grit guards trap the loose dirt at the bottom of the bucket so that there is a lesser chance of damage to the car.

+ What is the Snow Foam/Pre Soak Method?

The snow foam or pre-soak method is used to loosen the dirt particles from the surface of the vehicle before the contact wash. By using this method first, it will help lessen the chance of scratches on the vehicle by safely removing surface contaminants.

+ Why is it important to clean, condition and protect leather?

Most modern cars come with a protective coating on the leather that is similar to the clear coat on the outside of your vehicle. Just like the paint the leather needs to be cleaned and protected to ensure a long life. Cracked, torn, or faded leather is often not salvageable, However leather that is still intact should be protected to prevent damage. Leather conditioners & protectants help to repel spills and stains as well as protect from the suns harsh UV rays.

+ Why clean the door jambs & gas cap?

These areas of the car are often overlooked and can accumulate dirt fairly quickly. They also happen to be areas with a high chance of rust and oxidation, However keeping them clean can prevent that. It is also beneficial to keep these areas clean so that contaminants do not get into the fuel tank.

+ Interior Protectant importance

Protecting your interior trim much like the leather is very important to prevent the sun's UV rays from damaging your interior. This step is not always necessary but is great peace of mind knowing your interior is protected.

+ What is Claying or Clay Baring?

Claying is a part of the decontamination process before compounding or polishing the car. It is done after the paint has been washed and other forms of decontamination have been addressed. Claying grabs and pulls out contaminants that are embedded in the paint, often that a normal wash could not take off. Although it is often done before polishing it is not necessary to polish after using a clay bar. Claying like any kind of product can be abrasive to the paint so with an added detail spray, soap & water, or a dedicated clay lube that needed layer of protection is between the clay bar and the vehicle. Claying will not only make the paint glossy and sparkle, but it will also make the vehicle smooth to the touch.
